Upcoming for 2022-23 School Year:  One goal for this year's STEM Academy is to make this data available for use in the classroom.

For its 2022 Spring initiative, the STEM Academy Student Board wanted to raise money to purchase and install a water bottle refill station in the building.  At the time, there were NO water bottle refilling stations in the school.

We exceeded our fundraising goal!  The new water bottle station has been installed in the downstairs hallway.  With the additional funds, we will be able to purchase filters for the unit.  The unit will be maintained by the student board.

Students gathered scraps from lunch and composted them.

In the spring of 2023, the STEM Academy created a hydroponic garden in the media center.  The items grown are being consumed by teachers / students at the school.
