Congratulations to Our Seniors!

Thank you to everyone who donated items to the Senior Breakfast on Thursday, May 30. Everyone was so generous. We had plenty to share with our hungry Seniors & their families. The leftover treats were enjoyed by our hard working Athens staff!

We meet the second Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm. All parents of STEM Academy students and community business members interested in STEM are welcome to join us.

What Is the STEM Advisory Board?

The Advisory Board is an association intended to support the Athens Drive Magnet High School Center for Medical Sciences and Global Health Initiatives STEM Energy and Sustainability Academy and help bridge the gap between the classroom and the real world. Specific goals of the Advisory Board include:

1. Develop an understanding and advance the programs of the Academy within the Wake County school system and the community.

2. Provide a volunteer base to support the Academy and assist in providing and soliciting financial support for the Academy’s programs.

3. Help build and enhance relationships between the Academy and the local related industries and community.
