STEM Night Challenge Was a Success

On November 30, 136 STEM Academy students gathered at the school to use their critical thinking and problem-solving skills to complete in STEM challenges like building catapults, constructing balloon powered cars, and designing noodle towers with marshmallows.

The event was organized and run by the STEM Academy Student Board with generous assistance from parent volunteers.  Winners of the challenges were presented with gift cards at the end of the event.

Pizza, desserts, drinks, and gift cards were provided by the STEM Advisory Board and parent donations.

We meet the second Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm.  All parents of STEM Academy students and community business members interested in STEM are welcome to join us.
